Feb 27 Meeting Announcement - Room Change

We have been moved to the Upper Hall B room for Monday's meeting.  It's one room past our normal meeting place at the Kanata Recreation Complex.

There will be signage directing you to the right location.

Feb 27 Meeting - Sashiko Quilting

Next meeting will feature a interactive talk on Sashiko quilting by Debby Soll.  

Debby will be selling kits  for $6 each which includes fabric with printed design, needle and thread 

• Kits will be available at the sign-in table - first come basis
• Please bring $6 cash (exact change) for the kits
• It is not mandatory to purchase a kit - Feel free to bring your own supplies or just watch

February Block of the Month

This is the block that we'll do for the February meeting.  The size is only 6" this time - so feel free to make more than one :)  You'll get one ticket into the draw for each block 6" block you submit.

I picked this block after seeing this photo, of a Riley Blake design. I loved it - very striking but so simple.

Bring your block(s) to the February meeting, and the winner of the draw will take them all home.
