March's Block and Colours
This month is inspired by the soft colours of Spring. But not too soft! Remember Dusty Rose from the 80's? It was EVERYWHERE!!! We are starting with Kona Rose and adding Kona Peapod as a classic pink and green combination but using curves this month to really spice things up. Oh no, you haven't tried curves yet? That's perfect! What a better time than now to PLAY. There are plenty of videos that use appliqué, plastic templates, paper templates, or you can make your own. I've got you covered 🙌.
My blocks are under construction 🚧.
***Due to virtual meetings Jan-Mar, to arrange fabric pickup, contact Sam at VicePresidentOMQG@gmail.com.
Remember these rules?
- You can add other colours to the blocks, as long as the colour prompts are used as well.
- Use as much or as little of the colour prompts as you like.
- Use the best match from your stash, no pressure to use the exact Kona fabric or colours.

🔸A Quilting Life offers an appliqué** template and video to make her pillow.
🔸Sew Can She also offers a tutorial on an appliqué** version.
**Remember that you can always do raw edge appliqué, too 😺.
🔸Our own Stacey has a YouTube video on how to make your own curved pieces.
Alternatively, there are many plastic template options as well.
