We are going to make some postcards, every month, a different modern theme.

At break, we will take time to write a sticky note of encouragement for the postcards on display.
Come May, we will be bundling the postcard into groups of 5 to sell at the silent auction as a fundraiser for the guild.
How do I make a postcard?

Quilt the top directly onto the non-fusible side of the interfacing. Batting can be added but don’t go crazy. If the postcard is too thick, it will cost more to send.
Use a light coloured bobbin thread if possible, dark may show through the backing fabric.
Trim the top to the 4” by 6” interfacing once the quilting is complete.
Draw a central vertical line and a postage square on the white backing with a permanent marker.
Use a wide, dense zigzag stitch to finish the edges of your postcard.
Et Voila! I used an ordinary ball point pen to write the address and the message.
