Sprinkle Kindness Like Confetti - March BOM

Sprinkle Kindness Like Confetti

Technique:  Slice and Insert Method and Small Piecing
Due: March 25th Meeting

This Slice and Insert method is a good introduction to improv and angles, there are not a lot of overt rules, and it can help make blocks and design seem more intricate.
The Modern movement has embraced small piecing, as a way to sometimes show and exaggerated scale, or as a way of highlighting the skill of the maker.

The Goal of the Block:
This block should resemble confetti falling on a black background

Make a couple blocks:
Can you make one look like a lot of confetti?
Can you make one look as if confetti is falling?
Make a few with just a couple sprinkles, make some with lots more!

Also this month comment on other makers IG posts, and encourage them!  Lets make social media a great place to be for makers!
