June BOM

The June Block of the Month is a pinwheel variation. I saw this in a quilt on line the other day and immediately loved it - I hope you feel the same way.  Instructions produce a 10.5" block, with minimal seams and no y-seams to worry about.

I'm suggesting a grey background, which should be the lightest of your 3 fabrics.  A dark(ish) in the center of the pinwheel and a medium (preferably something bright) for the outer portion of the pinwheel.

Bring your block to the June meeting for the draw, and the winner will take home the whole set.

November Retreat

• Dates: November 24 to 26th
• Location: Gracefield Christian Camp and Retreat Centre - Gracefield, QC
• Amount: $210 per person ($217 with square app) – includes 7 meals
• Limit – 35 spots - There are 10 rooms available - if more than 10 sign up, you will need to have a roommate.

The May BOM  instructions can be found here.  Use white and any colour (or print) you like. You need about a fat eighth of each to make the block.



Bring your block back to the May meeting. The winner of the draw will take all the blocks home.
