OMQG MEETING MINUTES - June 25, 2018
Meeting began at 7:20
The Shop of the Month was Simplifi.

  • There will be a retreat at Gracefield November 16-18. $235/person
  • Sign-ups for refreshments, retreat, jelly roll race, usual suspects – people who want to make quilts when the guild gets requests
  • Renfrew mini swap reveal
  • Round Robin reveal. Quilt tops were shown and returned to their originators.
  • Block of the Month (BOM).  BOM for June was reflections. The winner was Brenda P. 
  • There were 9 door prize winners.

Kirsten talked about the Common Thread Quilt Guild Show that will take place Mother's Day weekend. Weekend passes were offered at a discount to members.
Laura P spoke about creating abstract landscapes and guided us in a sketch exercise.
There was a Round Robin huddle for participants to exchange their kits.
